BIBS Restorative Justice Model

Restorative Justice (RJ) supports our bilingual international school by creating healthy, equitable, caring school communities and by preventing and addressing behavioural disruption in a non-punitive way that supports accountability and enables healing. Restorative practices decrease suspension rates and other incidents needing discipline.

BIBS Behavior For Learning Policy

It is expected that BIBS students and staff show respect for themselves, respect for others and respect for the environment.

BIBS Child Protection Policy - Chengdu Campus

The health, safety and protection of our students are of paramount importance and takes priority is all decisions regarding school operations.  In consideration of this the BIBS Child Abuse Policy will be included in the induction Program for all staff new to the school and in Faculty handbooks.

BIBS Chengdu Campus Anti-Bullying Program

While initial reports of possible bullying incidents may come from staff members, students or parents, an effective Anti-Bullying Program depends heavily on information being given by students as to what is really going on, how long it has been going on, who are involved and in what ways.  The BIBS Ant-Bullying Program is a "Counseling First" approach which is most effective when used in Y6 -Y12, although some of the tools and the overall theme of using a counseling approach can be adjusted and applied to various cases in lower grades as well.
